From a hunted drug dealer to a free son of Christ — see what happens when Jesus changes everything. Growing up in poverty and violence outside New Orleans, he believed love was something you had to earn — from parents, from people, even from God. By 17, he was running a drug operation across states, always looking over his shoulder, expecting death or prison to be the only way out. But through the steady prayers of his sister and a moment of surrender in a jail cell, he met the love and grace of Jesus — a love that didn’t condemn him but called him chosen and free. The good news is that He is already pursuing you. Over and over again, God meets us where we are. He makes the first move to initiate a relationship with us. This is most clearly and compassionately demonstrated in Jesus' ultimate sacrifice- dying for us on the cross. Then three days later, the tomb was empty. So, let it be so.

Christie grew up in the church, served alongside her husband in ministry, and built a life she thought she understood—until hidden sin was exposed to the world and ended in tragedy. Left with heartbreak, shame, and unanswered questions, Christie has walked a long road of learning what real forgiveness looks like. Her story is a raw reminder that we all have our names on a list—broken, guilty, in need of grace—and that Jesus wipes that list clean, calling us to forgive others just as we’ve been forgiven.
